The activity of Fiocchi began on July, 3rd 1876, when its founder, accountant Giulio Fiocchi, took over the ammunition producing branch of a weapon and ammunition company, pouring onto it all his passion and commitment and making Fiocchi products the most sought after.

In 1880 this Lecco-based company added gunpowder to its production and it became able to enter the market with both finished products and parts and components; in 1903 Fiocchi diversified its activity, successfully entering the sector of snaps. This choice was suggested by the need to use brass swarfs deriving from the production cycle of hunting cartridges' cups. The snap business, with the later addition of metal trinket production, immediately provided a relevant market balancing against the ammunition demand trend and it became so attractive that in 1992, when the Fiocchi decided to focus on its original core business, it was taken over by the European sector leader.
Next to those strategic choices, Fiocchi has always adopted a winning strategy which is still today the foundation of its success: the in-house designing of the machines and equipment it needs for its production processes. This strategy has always allowed Fiocchi to have latest-generation equipment in tune with the needs of its productive configuration.

During its activity, the Lecco-based company has produced all kinds of ammunition for light weapons that might be of interest for gun owners: pin shells for smooth-barrel weapons, metal pin shells for rifled-barrel weapons, every kind of loaded shells and cartridges with centre-fire or rim-fire percussion.
Nowadays, Fiocchi is a world leader in the field of small-calibre ammunition and it boasts a wide range of products which can satisfy any shooter's or hunter's needs. The quality level attained by the company is certified by prestigious Qualifications and Certifications; furthermore, Fiocchi shooting cartridges have contributed to several world cup and Olympic triumphs.
